The goal of this restaurant redesign was to better express the ideas and traditions of Mama’s Kitchen. This Tex-Mex restaurant needed to retain its traditional Mexican roots while implementing vibrant Texan culture. A color palette was chosen based on colors picked from traditional Mexican textiles such as wool rugs and hand embroidery. These colors were used in a one-color method throughout menus, business cards, stationery, coasters, and take-out packaging to create a unified visual identity more in tune with the modern world.
